​At Skyline Transport, we understand that mobility challenges can make certain tasks more difficult for individuals with limited mobility. That’s why we offer specialized Stair Chair Transport Services to help get your loved ones or patients where they need to go — safely and comfortably.

 

What is a Stair Chair?
A Stair Chair is a motorized device designed to assist people who have difficulty navigating stairs. It allows our drivers to safely and securely transport individuals up or down stairs with minimal risk of injury or discomfort. It’s a helpful solution for individuals in multi-story homes, condos, apartments, senior living facilities, hospitals, and other buildings with stair access.

 

Eligibility for Stair Chair Service
For safety reasons, clients must be able to transfer into the stair chair with assistance from our team. Stair chairs are designed for seated transport on stairs and are not intended for individuals who must remain lying down.

Please note that we are unable to transport stretchers up or down stairs. Clients requiring stretcher transport must have stair-free access such as an elevator or ground-level entry.
