Types of Appointments & Destinations

Hospital & Medical Facility Visits
Skyline Transport regularly provides stretcher transport to and from some of Tampa Bay's most recognized hospitals and medical facilities, including Tampa General Hospital, AdventHealth Tampa, HCA Florida Brandon Hospital, and Moffitt Cancer Center.
We handle:
• Hospital discharges - safe transport home when you can't sit upright after a stay
• Facility-to-facility transfers - between hospitals, rehab centers, and skilled nursing facilities
• Skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility visits
• Dialysis treatments for patients who require a lying-down position
• Wound care and long-term treatment appointments
• Hospice and palliative care transportation
Our drivers are trained in proper stretcher loading, securement, and patient handling - and our vehicles are equipped to accommodate standard and bariatric stretcher needs.

Surgical & Post-Procedure Transport
Many patients leaving outpatient surgery centers or recovering from inpatient procedures require stretcher transport because sitting upright is painful or medically restricted during their recovery period. Skyline Transport coordinates directly with surgery centers and hospital discharge teams to ensure seamless, on-time pickup.
We provide stretcher transport for patients recovering from:
• Orthopedic procedures - hip replacements, knee surgeries, spinal procedures
• Bariatric surgery and post-operative recovery
• General outpatient surgery requiring a recovery position during transport
• Cosmetic and reconstructive procedures
• Cardiac procedures and post-catheterization transport
If your surgeon or discharge planner has specified that you need to travel lying down, Skyline Transport is equipped to meet that requirement safely and professionally.
