Understanding the Wheelchair Transport Process for Appointments

At Skyline Transport, our goal is to make your wheelchair transport experience safe, simple, and stress-free from start to finish.
When you arrive at your appointment, your driver will assist you out of the vehicle and bring you inside the building. They’ll make sure you’re checked in properly with the front desk or facility staff before leaving. Once you’re settled and confirmed for your appointment, your driver will head out to continue assisting other clients.
Because many clients don’t know exactly when their appointment will end, your trip will be scheduled as a “will call.” This means your return ride is on standby in our system until you’re ready to go.

When your appointment is finished, simply call our dispatch team at 800-515-8028 to let us know you’re ready for pickup. We’ll dispatch the closest available driver to return to your location. Your driver may be completing another nearby trip, and traffic conditions at the time of pickup may affect their arrival time, but they’ll get to you as soon as possible.
While waiting, please remain inside the building or lobby until your driver arrives. Once on site, your driver will come inside, meet you in the lobby, and safely assist you back to the vehicle for your return trip.
